question on mailing

i oredered a L1D from the Fenix Store on 01-25-07. got e-mail from them saying my light had been shipped on 02-02-07. as of today i have not recieved it. was wondering if anyone knew where it was shipped from. Ga.? i can hardly hold my excitement on recieving this light.:help:

I believe that that vendor is located in Atlanta. While it shouldn't take very long to get to you, if you don't get it in a week, you might want to drop an eMail to the vendor at his site, or send him a PM here under his screenname of 4Sevens.

The Atlanta mail system is brutally slow. I have the problem with receiving mail. When other people have their lights that were shipped out the same day as mine, it usually takes another three to four days for mine to arrive.

Mine took 9 days to get from Fenix-Store to OH. Since then, I've upgraded to Priority Mail . . . It's worth it

Mine took 1 day via First Class. But I'm a Florida resident.

4x7 normally sends a tracking number so you can check usps.com for what the package is doing. I think mine took 2 days.

I'm actually in a city just north of Atlanta. Theoretically, even regular mail usually only takes one day when i ship from neighboring city to neighboring city. But for some reason it takes a few days and sometimes even almost a week. It happens, but not a big deal. Priority mail upgrade for something as light as a fenix light would probably only be a couple bucks more? I'd say its worth it.
But you'll get the light eventually.

haha i live in columbia, sc and it can take forever to get here from atlanta.. one time it took a whole month.. the quickest tho was 3 days

The USPS delivery confirmation number is just that. You only receive confirmation after the package is delivered and sometimes when it arrives at the destination post office. Unfortunately it does not allow you to track the location/estimated delivery date of the package.

I sent a light back to Fenix Store on 1/30, it arrived this morning. So, 9 days from here to Fenix-Store via First Class Mail as well.
