Knife is from a Aus Company , but where is it made ?
Steel is supposedly 440c , but was not overly hard when sharpening . Bit on the mild side , which is reflected by the rope cutting performance .
Sheath is nylon , and a bit rubbish . The knife rattles in there very nicely which over time will most likely dull the edge ( past experience ) .
The knife looks 9/10
The knife feels 8/10
The knife performs 1/10 ( The best of the best might do 1000 slices , lets call that a perfect 10 )
So yeah , the steel is almost very ordinary , not quite there ( ordinary ) but almost !
After sharpening ( guided knife sharpener ) , I found some micro fractures ( jewellers eye piece ) . And these fractures may have affected the results .
Knife has been on the wet grinder , and there will be a round 2 .
