Normally Don builds those lights that are ordered "on demand" very quickly, except mine of course :green: :whoopin:

I think he has most of these built up. Probably except for the LED, but he might even have that. I ordered one a couple weeks ago, and had it in 3 days. Pretty quick from the other side of the US.

Now if I just had a U bin in it!

BTW, is the TWOJ considered more "warm" tint (more towards a cyan color), than the TYOJ? I'm just trying to figure this out.

My U2 has more of a cyan color to it, when compared to my TYOJ PD. The PD seems to be a bit on the blue tint side. Of course, I could be color blind, too, who knows.

So I guess I didn't win the chrome PD...:mecry:

Can you make a Aleph2 head with the Cree 365nm and the proper driver to run it off of 1x123 or 2x123?

Does Cree have a 365 nm now?!?!? I suspect that you would be batter off with an Aleph 19 head and a wiz2 will buck boost and be great with 1x or 2x CR123.

Wasn't there a light you offered 3 or 4 of that used a 365nm LED? I guess it wasn't Cree judging by your response. An A19 with wiz2 sounds fine.

**EDIT** I see that it was Nichia HighPower 365nm LED. :)

Yeah, that is the expensive Nichia (min order of 5 LED's and cost is prohibitive). Wayne is in a better postition to make these but you need 4 other takers. :o

I saw that the post that says they only do minimum orders of 5 LEDs. Tough to find 4 others knowing the cost of the batch of LEDs could not be disclosed until the other 4 were found.

Cool! Any more interested? Understand that from what I know, These Nichia HighPower 365nm LEDs costs $120~$200 apiece. I just don't want anyone being surprised when the cost is disclosed. I'm hoping its closer to the $120 but either way, I'm in. :)

BTW these LEDs have a flux rating of 130 -154 mW of power!

Yes, all of the Aleph Tailcaps work with the KL1.
You just need to specify your resistor value.

IIRC Don is closed for Aleph orders ... if he has no time for your request right now you can order via the Sandwich Shoppe or contact a guy of the Aleph Builders Group: Darell, tylerdurden, Chop (temp. unavailable), kj and JollyRoger.

It is STILL unlcear to me if this(McE2s) can be ordered
directly through Don. It is listed as a product that is
still available but.... he aparently isn't selling Aleph
