I got 2 XP-G's R4 from Nailbender today and decided to use one in a modded Romisen G2 I had.
The stock G2 was modded with a Q5 Cree and a DX 7880 board

This setup works with a AA Alkaline or NiMh, I use Eneloops in my modded G2 which gives a nice beam.
Here are pics compared to a stock Jetbeam Jet II Pro IBS which has a Q5 Cree.
Jet is at half brightness on the left, G2 Cree Q5 is at brightest setting.
Now after the instalation of the XP-G R4 from Nailbender, same flashlight and camera settings, as you can see the G2 is now brighter with much more sidespill, Overall I like it better now.
