Romisen: RC-N3 Q5 or RC-A4 Q5?

I'm interested in purchasing a Romisen as an EDC and was seeking some input on the two lights mentioned above. I'd primarily use CR123 primaries so was wondering the pros and cons of the two.

I, myself like the N3 over the A4 for a couple of reasons. I like the fact the N3 will work with AA's if needed. Also th A4 has a few rough edges. May not be bad for holding on when clipped to pocket, hat, bag... I had to round off the edges just a little. The A4 and N3 can be had with 2 modes. Good to have. Either way, you can't go wrong.

I have both. I EDC the A4 and the N3 sits on the kitchen shelf in 2xaa format.

I'd say buy both

Thanks for the replies. Eventually, I'll get both. I'll go with the N3 for now and wait for the OK to make another purchase.

I highly recommend the A4, especially the ShiningBeam version. I have both the single and double mode versions. (There is not that much difference in the hi and med. modes, so I slightly prefer the single mode version.)

Fit and finish is very high, far better than on many budget models. Your friends will not be able to tell that this is a $23 knockoff of a $93 brand name model.

I like the size -- small but not tiny. It's a good choice for my size medium hands. I often use the A4s when I walk the dogs and need a second hand free to deal with poop bags.

This is a no-regrets purchase!
