I know this is a simple answer most likely posted in here PLENTY of times, but I can't seem to find it even with the search function.

If I recall, it's somewhere in the neighborhood of 30 minutes. I'm making another one of these for a friend who likes the 3D size for the simple "billyclub" potential. I also want to ensure real world usable runtime though. Any help would be appreciated as I want to complete the parts order asap.

Thanks,
Dan

Depends on batteries age, state of charge, charger type, battery holder, age of flashlight, bi pin type, temperature and ..., everybody may get different result so I suggest test it yourself and get most accurate answer.

Just a approximate estimate...

The 1185 is drawing 3.35 amps at 10.8v . Eneloops will supply 1.7 amp hours of 1.2 volt goodness at 3 amps.
The result is discounting resistance and other factors are...

Almost exactly half an hour.

Your results may differ but I get about 30 minutes on my Eneloops and about 40 minutes on my Sanyo 2700.
