Made an adapter to fit the RRT-0 head on a SF E1e body.
Brass piece on the left is the original heatsink/pill/collar with male threads (1.25 pitch).
The adapter has female threads (20tpi).

The overall length is about 10.7mm longer. Only accepts a CR123 or RCR123.
Not AA.

I do not have a milling machine now, so had to fabricate a spacer.
Without this piece, there is no ground path.

Longer screws were needed too. The bottom screw is the original.
I ordered longer ones and filed them down.
Die was used to eliminate the burrs.

Enjoy :)

Thanks guys.
I am very fond of the selector ring, and though initially planned to mod the Nitecore SR3,
swithced to the smaller RRT-0 when it came along.
Next step is to shorten the head for a floodier beam and make it smaller.

Very cool! I wouldn't be surprised if you got a few orders...

Wish I could make a few but am just too busy :(
I have been working on this project for 2 months, making very slow progress between travel,
and was only able to finish it yesterday.

This is a very cool mod, but I'm confused as to the added value out of it other than the surefire body and clip. The stock body seems to be approximately the same length with the added benefit of a guarded switch.

Don't get me wrong, I love these homemade setups.
