Those are lux, not lum. lol :sssh:

+1 for 1xAA tube for your existing LD20, buy separate holster cause the LD10's own holster could be better...

The holster that came with the LD20 looks ok, but the nylon that holds the flashlight is a bit thin... I could buy a LD10 tube for my LD20, but I don't want to use my private flashlight at work. So there must be two separate flashlights :)

I ordered a LD10 today... But I will get the D10 for my self later. I'm very happy with my LD20 and LD01.

LD10:
Pros:
- Best efficiency on all levels
- You know exactly what level you are on and can predict runtimes
- Can always come on in Low or High if you like.
Cons:
- Lack of a Low Low
- Clicky switches are never super reliable
Other:
- Strobe and SOS in the sequence
- Reverse clicky

D10:

Pros:
- Lots of levels to choose from. (sort of)
- Pretty Low Low
- Has a momentary on mode
- CR123 and 2AA body available seperately
Cons:
- Not as efficient
- Can't pick a specific level anyway
- Small self drain when off, when left in clicky mode
- Requires periodic maintenance on piston to keep it running smoothly
- Will forget any favorite intermediate level as soon as you use high or low.
Other:
- No Strobe and SOS
- Will always come on at last level used.

Very nice list!
The D10 has an other con: It is prone to activate itself. The piston drive is sensitive to bumps and shocks and might turn itself on. It happened a few times that somebody points out that my pants are glowing .
There is a way to prevent this, but then you got a twisty.

I am very happy with my LD10/ 20 combo. You will be happy with your decision. Good luck with controlling the addiction.

I would say that's a fault with some examples. I can't make mine activate like that no matter how hard I bang it.

I have never had that issue on my gd+ or q5 version, i think your spring inside the piston may be to short or to weak.

D10 has lock-out feature, simply half turn the body. And this also gives you momentary on too.
