How does the Stinger DS LED tail cap switch work with the body switch?
Why does an XT switch not work on a regular Stinger with body switch? I want an XT switch on my regular Stinger just like the DS LED.

There's no electrical connection from the tail to the head on a regular Stinger, so adding a tailcap switch is pointless.

The DS model adds a connection point from the tailcap to the switch assembly, and uses the battery stick's negative end as a connection point along with the standard Stinger battery stick configuration in which both polarities are on the same end.

Nothing...the light wasn't designed for a tailcap switch.
