Hi. I got a Streamlight stinger led flashlight, I bought a new OEM battery for it, charged it up and it worked great, left it on the counter and two days later the battery was dead just sitting on the counter, so I thought I had a defective battery, sent it back and received a new one, put it in the flashlight, charged it, worked perfectly, left it on the counter, 2 days later dead, so I charged it back up, took if off the charger, this time I removed the battery, put them on the counter, 6 days later I still have a charged battery. What would cause the flashlight to drain the battery so fast without it being on?.

Could be a short or defect in the light itself. Contact Streamlight and send the light to them for repair or replacement.

Have to echo what everyone else is saying. Most likely culprit is that the light itself is defective.
