Hi:
I have a 15 year old Ford Explorer. One of the tiny incandescent lamps that sits behind the instrument gauge panel (speedometer, fuel gauge, tach, etc) has burned out. The dealer says that it is an incredibly cheap part, but ~$500 worth of labor to pull the panel to get to the lamp to replace it!
At night it's hard to see the speedometer. Does anyone have a suggestion as to a small LED lamp that I could glue to the clear plastic cover that protects the instrument panel that would shine light back through the clear plastic onto the gauges to make them visible at night?
