Hi!

Looking for a really small flashlight which I can mod with different P60 drop-ins. Needs to be small in size and 1x18650. Will use it mostly during winter so heat build-up is not that big of a problem.

Could you also recommend a floody P60 drop-in with "a wall of light" (almost). P7, SST-50, XP-G R5, 3x XP-G R5?

Low budget if possible.

Don't know what 'low budget' is defined as but I don't think you'll get anything like a triple XP-G on a budget. The kerberos and Oveready modules are both quite spendy.

Nailbender's dual XP-G Linger Special is a budget flooder at $45. http://www.candlepowerforums.com/vb/showthread.php?t=282416 You can also find them at the MP some times. I have one of his SST-90s which is truly a wall of light (although a fairly far reaching wall..:nana:) but at $80 I don't think it's 'low budget'.

Get a P60 drop-in by Nailbender. Just look him up.

Ask for an SST-90 65k tint regulated at 2.8A. It will run on a single 18650 cell or single ImR 16340 cell.

The hosts. = Solarforce L2. they make these where you can run just a IMR 16340 or put the extention to run the IMR 18650.

Due to the physical dimensions of the pill and battery , there is not that much in it ...

Even 10mm is not going to make much difference to carry ability ..
One of the trimmest bodies [ host ] is the Ultrafire 501B ...

By far the smallest 2-cell P60 light I've ever seen is the "Hemse" (e.g. sku 971 from the Dealer-We-Dare-Not-Name). It's a LOT smaller than a Benno (501B). This is definitely my "budget" reccomendation. Onre ppoint to note - different manufacturing batches have either a clicky or twisty switch - you can't really predict which you'll get.

A close second for miniturization is the poor-man's E2D clone, sold by the Dealer-Who-Started-A-Joke-Thread, but I wouldn't recommend that - threads are too short, and the quality is not up to scratch IMHO.
