SOB1000 or GD1000 ?
I would like to drive SSC-P4 at 1,000 mA with one 18650 Li-Ions 3.7-4.2 Volt.
Which one will have a longer runtime between SOB1000 and GD1000? I guess it is about efficiency when driving with one Li-Ions cell.
Thanks,

I've got an SOB1000 in a Surefire L2 2x123 that works great! One cell I'm not sure about. Maybe a 17670 or 18650, don't know if a single 123 will do it.

GD all the way!!
the gd was designed for use with Li-ion and is a boost/buck.
The SOB is a buck only converter and may look like its running correctly but at that drive current you wont be in regulation very long at all, if at all, with the SOB.
so unless your planning on someday running 2/3/4 cells in this light
GET A GD!!!
great converters
