Solar charged, 50 lumen super cap light

I wonder if the super caps could be the way of the future for flashlights. Be nice to never have to replace a batt. There was a more powerful one talked about in another thread...but don`t think it was solar...and it was more money. http://www.brightguy.com/products/Solarey_Ecolight.php

I don't really believe it can charge in an hour and run for 45 minutes.

But they probably meant 50 lumen for the first second and 0 lumen at 45 minutes.

I believe the concept is sound but I don't know if the technology is there yet for the price and performance claimed here. But then it is all black magic to me anyway.

edit: I will add that there is one pretty easy way to find out....
