Up for sale is a one of a kind McGizmo Aluminum PD-S. It started out life as a plain black slate PD-S with Ti bezel and clip. It was sent off for an application of white cerakote by a company that is no stranger to coating flashlights. At that time it also had an XP-G emitter swapped in along with having the brightness bumped up by Datiled. It now has a very usable low level and is extremely bright on high with a nice snow white tint and smooth beam. Also available is a diamond etched Ti clip (plus screws) and bezel set that has been gold anodized by Peter Atwood. Finally, a nickel plated plated aluminum piston with green tritium was sourced to complete the package.
Original PD-S Cost: $225
Cerakoting Cost: $40
LED Upgrade: $70
Bezel and Clip + Anno: $75
Tritium Piston: $30
Total Cost Involved: $440
Asking price w/Plain Ti Bezel and Clip: $360
With Gold Anno'd Bezel and Clip: $425
Including two new Panasonic CR123's and the original piston.
