Sony 26650?

Does anyone know which Sony Vaio battery pack contains the 26650 3200 mah
cells? Thinking of making a two cell 3 C ROP or 1274 for guys at work........gotta be high mah for runtime...

I have a few #26650 cells, but I think they are 3000mah or so.

They are hard to find as only a few manufacturers still use them.

3200+ maH, and there has been a lot of interest, so could be a good alternative for what you want.

rknieska wanted long runtime so 18650 offers same capacity in smaller package with lower price.

My Toshiba Tecra 700CT pack had 6 Sony 26650 cells. It was rated at 5800 mAh, so 2900 mAh cells, but they're getting old.
I know that's not a big help, but it gives you another manufacturer to look for.

I signed up for the C size lithiums a long time ago and I use the 18650's quite a bit but I would like to make some lights that last longer than an hour. I had read a thread that the Sony Vaio computers use 26650's with 3200 mah. With a bulb like the wa1274 at 2.7 draw it would be sweet with the 3200's. The 123's voltage are a bit low.
