Hi,

I'd like to be notified for the next run - I'm interested in

SST-50 EDC Aluminum
4500k Warm (Top Bin)
3mode Low-Med-2800mah High

I must however display some ignorance here - is this: http://www.lighthound.com/AW-IMR163...LiMN-Rechargeable-Lithium-Battery_p_2626.html

the battery I need for the 2800mah? Do I need one or two? (I'm a newbie flashaholic and so far my only rechargeables are eneloop AAs  )

yep the red aw imr 16340 is what i'm currently using in my 2.8 sst-50.

Amazing how many lights have already been "preordered" here!!!

It's not ubelievable however, I'd preorder one as well, if I hadn't one already...

Oh, I forgot that I actually asked for a reservation of a light, an 18650 if it becomes reality, which I don't think as the 16340 still has a tremendous success...

Anyway, I'm in for an 18650 titanium for sure, whenever it comes!!!

Thanks zwerky.

Oh, and to clarify - Mac, my "interest" is a "I would send money RIGHT NOW! if I could" type of "interest"....

These look awesome! :twothumbs

I'm interested in getting in on the next run.

What is the difference in approx. output between the 1400 and 2800 mah?

I use my lights on high intermittently, so that would be no problem. But I don't have any IMR cells so maybe 1400 would be the better fit for me?

Hi mate
I just received my 2800 Ti - you def need a IMR cell as i can't tell the diff
between the 1400 Al when running them both off normal RCRs.
I'll have to get some IMRs myself.

Hi Trib
Mac will contact you with details for payment when he PM's you with
notification of placement on the list.PayPal is commonly used but i'm sure
other methods could be used as well.

Thanks for the beaut light Mac
Cheers

Hi Mac,

Just letting you know I received your package safe and sound. Ok so now to the good news and the bad news. The good news is I love it, it is an amazing finish and the tint is great:twothumbs. I wasn't expecting it to be so perfect (honestly wasn't sure what to expect at all) and it by far exceeded my expectations and then some. The bad news (for me and my wallet anyway) is can I please be in on the next run for an Al (maybe another Ti also just trying to work out funds, mmm i smell a sale coming on lol) with the 6500k. Thanks (I think ).

Cheers Chris

ps shame on you guys for carrying these around they are way to perfect for that

I am IN for the next run! I'll take TWO:

A Warm Ti Clipless 4500 Warm 3 mode 2800mA

And an aluminum Cool Clipless 6500 3 mode 1400 mA - also 3 speed.

Wonderful product! Congratulations to all of you who wisely purchased these in the first 4 runs...

PLEASE COUNT ME IN FOR THE 5TH RUN!

 :twothumbs

Greetings fellow CPF Members,

I would like to ask you kind knowledgeable people about your MAC SST-50 ?
Is the SST-50 "Custom" from MAC a regulated output LED light for all modes? I ordered a "Custom" SST-50 in Titanium with 2.8 A Driver but instead specified my model to be powered by 2 CR123's as I own mainly CR123 lights(a lot of Surefire LED's).

I wonder how this light would fare on the brightest setting when driven by 2 CR123's?
I would hope all modes including the maximum brightness mode would be fully regulated?

I know the default SST-50 relies on a single IMR Cell.

Many thanks.I really appreciate your input.

Hmm looks like you have your PM turned off. Single CR123 sized light. In this case for 2.8 a rechargeable IMR 16340 (cr123 sized).

I am pretty sure that this thread is not an order thread for the next run...despite all the requests.

Just in case Mac takes names though....I do want to be sure that he knows that I am in for a ti version! :) :) :)

Hello nfetterly ,

How are you? Well I hope? Anyway, I thought I had my PM enabled? Strange?

Basically my "Custom" SST-50 LED light is a 2 CR123 Model .

I wonder how this SST-50 6500 kelvin LED light would fare on the brightest setting at 2.8 A when driven by 2 CR123's?

I would hope all modes including the maximum brightness mode would be fully regulated?
