I was given a hand me down Streamlight Stinger LED flashlight awhile back.

It works, but I am interested in upgrading it to a newer LED, if possible.

How can I tell if the one I have can be upgraded?

I have never heard of them before.

Thank you for the tip!

I sent both Flashlight Distributor and Streamlight an email about this.

I did find the Streamlight 75768 Stinger LED C4 upgrade kit on Amazon, but I want to make absolutely sure that it will work with my Streamlight Stinger LED flashlight before I buy it.

Streamlight advised:

"
Good Morning,

Thank you for your email. Unfortunately, the Streamlight manufacturer does not offer an LED upgrade kit for the Stinger lights. There are some after market brands that offer an upgrade, but they are not made by Streamlight so we do not sell them. We only sell Streamlight branded products.

Kind regards..."

Today I received an email with the following:

"If you would like to convert your Stinger LED into a Stinger HL you will need part number 754309 and 75952."

Does anybody here happen to know the difference between the Streamlight 75768 Stinger LED C4 upgrade kit and

Streamlight Part Numbers 754309 and 75952?

I placed an order with JB Tools Inc on Tuesday of last week for Streamlight part numbers 754309 and 75952.

A package from them ws waiting when I returned home this afternoon.

The installation was pretty simply and the light is much brighter now.

Definitely a good move for my old Streamlight Stinger LED.
