Strobe Tailcap for U2?

Does anyone know if there is a mod (maybe a tailcap) that adds a strobe function to the SF U2 Ultra. While the 100 lumens is definitely blinding, anyone that's stared into an ultra bright led that's set to strobe knows how disorienting it is. For my bedside I'd like to have a strobe mode. Thanks for the info. My apologies if it's a N00b question, as I am in fact a N00b.

BTW, this is a great forum, and I've spent way too many hours reading it all ready!

Try searching ebay for G&P Strobe tailcap.
It works on the SF-6P which i believe has the same threadsize on the tail.
Whether it will be compatible with the U2 electronics,i dont know..:shrug:

I had one and it broke the strobe was to fast to be efective and when in constant on it pulsed. not a very good upgrade IMO.

OK, so the G&P seems like a bad option. Any other options.

Hey, thanks for the link. That looks great. I'll wait 'til there's info on the U2 compatibility.

It will definatively Fit,

But the Electronics on the U2 is a bit iffy,i tryed my KROMA Tailcap on mine and got flickering on the lowest levels with it.
The Two stage Kroma cap worked perfectly on Level 6 though.


Im considering ordering a extra Kroma Tailcap for it,just so i have that extra option.





Hopefully someone will chime in with some experiences with it.
