Sold/Expired Sub MC-E for XR-E possible?

Just suppose, I wanted blazing light all the time and all four dies running on an MR-E, and assuming I can handle the heat properly, could I plop a MC-E down on the pad vacated and designed by an XR-E?

I don't want to individually address the dies, just pump all four at once in parallel. Can it be done on the same solder pad?

You probably need to ask this in the led forum instead of buy and sell to get more answers but I do use small XRE pads for MC-E parallel driven all the time so it is possible.
