The SFIII is the latest evolution in the SuperFlashlight line.

Gold plated threads, silicone o-rings, hard anodize, regulated; all the tricks in one bag.

ArcMania has even developed a new super efficient DC/DC converter for this next generation flashlight. Can be built with either reflector or lens.

A new larger tail cap switch improves the grip and allows the light to be used in candle mode also.

ArcMania says he will have these available in quantity soon, so keep an eye out for when these become available.

Okay, so how do I get either my brand new SF-1 or my brand new SF-2 updated with this new super efficient DC/DC converter? It sounds like this would be quite an improvement that somehow should be possible.

Lambda,

What about the goodies: led, runtime, price, etc. Could you give us a little more info on these?

Yes, a pila 168s can be used. Its a tight fit plus a blob of solder will be required on the positive terminal of the battery to make contact with the positive terminal inside the head.

If you would like to get in line, send me a PM and when the SF-3's become available, I will go down the list in the arrival order of your PM. The lead time is two to three weeks as I have not accumilated all the parts for the new converter plus my LS source is again dragging their feet. Thank you.

As a novice this raises a question for me. What is the practical difference between a reflector and lens? Throw? Side spill? Durability?

Oh yeah. PM sent. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif
