Surefire E2L, Outdoorsman, 3L/60L Dual output?

I thought I read somewhere that it can take 2xRCR123 cells... is that true? If that is true, can anyone confirm the long-term reliability / affects of the extra 2.4 Volts?

Looking for any/all information about this light, reviews, user impressions, beam-shots, ETC... I tried the search to no avail:sigh:

YOu can use 2 RCR123s but I think the low mode is a lot brighter.

WOrks well on 1 RCR123 too!
