Terralux TLE-300M Question

I have a 6D cell maglight and was going to put a terralux TLE-300M into it. Is it easy to install (just snap in) or what? Thanks.

yep, pretty much. If you can change the bulb you can do it.

You unscrew the bezel of the Maglite (the part with the Maglite info on it, then remove the reflector (it just falls out) and bulb, put the TLE-300 in the socket, replace bezel, done.

K, thanks guys. Does anyone have the new 600 lumen Tigerlight LED and know how it compares to this maglite setup?

One extra step.... Be sure to use the included Terralux O-ring to negate the lens rattle. Just drop it down inside the bezel, between the lens and the actual drop-in. And just screw the bezel back on.

(I love mine too. Just wish it screwed down further. A hard hit or a drop can dislodge it. Then it's a pain to screw back down).

I put a -thin- layer of Arctic Silver Ceramique on the base of the module. It should help a bit with heat conduction, and since the Ceramique is very tacky, it also helps a bit with the "grab" between the head of the Maglite and the Terralux (but it's still removable if you so desire).
