The Victorinox 2 cell light looks like it would have a good feel in you hand as well but I'm not sure of its run time. Any info -Jayflash ?

I just picked up a 2C maglite and the LED dropin yesterday and im pretty happy with it so far. Does feel nice in the hand and it has a ton of throw. Sure, id have more runtime with a big D-Cell mag, but i cant see carrying anything bigger than the 2D for more than a couple minutes. This should still have somewhere in the neighborhood of 10 hours, which is plenty. I have other lights with super-long runtime for power outages, etc.

I've grown fond over the years of an old 2C Super PeliLite. The throw is pretty good, but the beam quality itself, IMO, is lacking. I'd love to find some mods or some way to optimize the nice size and form-factor of the light. Unfortunately, I don't think I've really seen anything about modding a Pelican. Sure, you can use the bigger bulbs to mod other lights...

One thing I will say about the PeliLite, and Pelicans in general, to paraphrase the words of Isaac Hayes, "That PeliLite is one bad mother..."
