The manual also reccomended NiMH

I recently bought a Bosch DLE 50 laser distance measurer (known as the Bosch DLR 165 in the US).

When reading through the manual they reccomended to use either Alkalines or NiMH rechargeables.

If you were me, which ones would you choose to use and why would they also recomend NiMH.

I would have choose Alkalines.
