Thread size for M@g C and D?

I know it was mentioned before, but I can't seem to find the thread sizes for the M@g C and D. Can someone give me the answer? Thanks.

Hi,

The way I find it is to go to this forum, then click on the first thread "Threads of interest". It's a sticky.

Then I follow THAT by clicking on "common dimensions reference thread " . Post # 8 gives D Cell Mag details. Post 28 has the C cell head threads. I just updated post 28 to include tail cap info.

Is this for real? The whole maglite is anywhere from $10-$30 or so, why would anyone buy pieces for more than the price of the whole thing? :thumbsdow

It's because a bulb protector is only $0.50 instead of $10-$30.
roadie was just trying to help but maybe misunderstood the question. :twothumbs
