Re: ??? Mod in progress!

Still awaiting the final piece from MODAMAG =D

Anyways, also machined a ring to fit around the emitter can to raise it up 0.03"

You can guess what that is needed for =p

Looks nice Kevin! As soon as I saw it, I thought that looks like a Piglet driver for a PD. Looking forward to seeing the rest of the pics!

It's fun to be able to machine your own things
That is in fact the most enjoyable part of this hobby since I got a mini-lathe a year or so ago - just get some raw material and make your own part or modify to fit. Now that I got a mini-mill, I should be able to work on more "complicated" mods ;)

I love the PD too. Also the III-T without the piston. Not up and running on the machining yet but should be joining you in that soon! If I can stay off CPF and go out to the garage to work on it!

Are you going to be selling this PD version of the FluPig? PLEASE!:grin2:

:sold: I'll take one in 150/850 flavor please.

You guys amaze me. I wish I had only half of your skills.

What is it with the "mini-lathes" and "mini-mills"?

I had always assumed you needed the room, and a sturdy enough floor and 3-phase power
to fit the full-sized machine-shop stuff to do any of this.

How big is a "mini-mill"?
