I've got two Fenix TK20, one is in my backpack, the other one in my wifes' and we constantly have them with us.

Today I checked them, cleaned the lenses and one of them is foggy on th inner side, the other one is OK. How can that happen? Useless to ask what I can do, because I won't try to open the head...

Has somebody else such problems, with other lights maybe? Could it come from heat, the backpacks often lie in the trunk of the car the whole day.

Greets,

Henk

i had the same problem with my fenix tk 11 and i had to send it back and get a new head under warrenty. my fenix l2d has the same problem but only after it was left on turbo for an hour in the sheeth. i think it could be moisture on the inside of the lens that is condensing. what i would do is get the foggy light and put it in some water in a sink and then put in some warm water snd bring the temperature up not too quick or ul break the lens. then take the lens out and the fod may have cleared it worked on my l2d but then it came back a few minutes later but at least now i know its just moisture anyway good luck.

Usually condensation from temperature or humidity changes from the last time you changed the batteries. Try a hair dryer set on LOW heat on the window or just leave it open for a few hours to see if it clears up.

The hair dryer made it better, but there's still some fog.

I don't know if it really affects the output, the 2 beams seem more or less the same. You only see the fog when the light is switched on, off the glass seems clear. I guess I'm going slightly mad...

Try running a few sets of batteries thorugh it on the highest mode. This should cook off the condensation.

This worked to eliminate some condensation in my Zebralight H60
