My first forum Thread:
I live in Brazil and now I'm in love with flashlights.
I now have a Fenix TK11 R5, one R5 Olight M20 and ended up selling a DBS V1 and a T20C2 MkII.
I researched a lot here in the forum and Now I want a TOP Thrower, preferably under $ 200.
as I am a police flashlight may not be very large> 25 cm in length Max.

Sorry for my poor English.

Oi e bem-vindo a CPF!

Thrunite Catapult is about to release a version 2 that will allow for more battery options and will have a stainless steel bezel added to an already tougher than average light. If I was a cop in Brazil I'd want a catapult... to save weight I'd let it replace my baton

I second the M2XC4.

Why did you sell the T20C2 MKII? Do you like the M20 and TK11 R5 better? If so, what do you like better about the M20 and TK11?

Thanks.. Obrigado :twothumbs

Did not like the regulation in catapult with 01 18650, and the automatic shutdown system with high temperature. But without these characteristics she would be one of the favorite

In the T20 did not like the tail switch, has a small delay in medium and low mode, and the distance for turn on the switch is too long. My opinion..

Well my compatriot friend, as I had said, my vote goes to M2XC4
I use a M2C4 in my tactical gear. Its not a "thrower" but I consider it a excelent light and think the M2XC4 should be better on this feature.

Abraço!

Thrunite Catapult V2
Jetbeam M1X
MG RX-1
Dereelight DBS V3

I owned a M2XC4, wasn't impressed with the throw. But maybe I was over-promised.

You're saying the M2xc4 loses in throw for all these four?

maybe not technically a dedicated thrower, but small very bright, throws very well and long runtimes.

perfect beam in my opinion.

Recieved mine yesterday. WOW!
This is an impressive little Flashlight! Outthrows all my Surefires. It really has a very useful beam. Throws almost identically to the hotspot of the Olight M20 R2 with SMO-Reflector, but with a much bigger and much more useful hotspot, in an even smaller Package.

Jetbeam RRT-2

Not sure if it has been mentioned, but have you seen the beamshots for the Jetbeam RRT-2? I have one in a warm tint and smooth reflector, man that thing can throw! The warm tint is nice too, looks like an incan to me if I didn't know any better.

Not sure if BugOut ships international, but mine was 88 bucks to my doorstep. I'm in the Bay Area US.

Lost to my friend's Dereelight and M1X and my RX-1 beat the Dereelight, so no doubt it beats the M2XC4 in throw. But I've heard contrary reports.
Catapult's a canon, in throw and spill. Can't verify till review's out for throw alone, but it's definitely one of my recommendations for your consideration.

You want a Solarforce Masterpiece Pro 1 and any Surefire host to go with it. Solarforce sells host also. Starting price about $75 dollars total. Or you can combine with a Surefire Z2 body for under $200. It is one of the two best throwers, the Tiablo A10G is the other. Both over 50,000 lux. The MP Pro 1 is also a very formidable weapon with the Z2 grip. It is a small club and would make a great defensive tool.

This one is Surefire and total cost is under $200 including the standard light head McKlicky switch and drop-in.

This one is all Solarforce and cost about $90 including extension. Add $4 or so for a UCL lens to get 54,000 lux.

Thank you very much and am considering and researching all that is spoken here. To you the catapult is the #1 in throw in my case? I'm waiting too for the Catapult v2 review, especially the performance with 01 18650.

What do you think about M2xc4 VS Catapult V2 with 1 bat?

I will search about that combination too ... Thank you very much
