U2SVOH in 120P, wow what a difference

I have an early model 120P (105xx), the tint on it is horrible. Finally I decided to order some U2SVOH emitter from photonfanatic and do a emitter swap, here are the result, compare with the same SF L1.

Agreed I have also done the same mod to my 120P some time ago, nice tint and overall an pretty big increase in output .

Whats the serial number?? This mod was a hit or miss, with mixed results..Some guys saw improvement and some did not. There was some rumors of Novatac using not using U-bins in the early lights.

Nope, LED is the only thing I swapped. It's really easy to do, you just need some basic soldering skills, everything else unscrews apart. I've never soldered anything until less than a year ago, then I bought a soldering iron and started playing with it.

It's easy because the heatsink is anodized and no copper spacer needed to install underneath the emitter to isolate the positive base of the SSC.
