Hi,

I'm charging a pair of Ultrafire 18650 3000mAh for only the 3rd time and the Ultrafire 139 charger is displaying FLASHING GREEN LED'S.

What are the LED codes for the Ultrafire 139 charger?

I'm guessing:

Solid Green = Fully Charged
Solid Red = Charging

Flashing green?
flashing red?
any others?

Thanks for your help!

There are 3 different versions of the WF-139.

With the first two versions, when charging, the lights will be red with a slight green flash every second or so and then turn solid green when charging is complete.

I think with the third version, it stays solid red while charging and then goes to solid green when the charging is complete.

I don't recall reading about flashing green LEDs before

The model number is WF-139.

It was shipped in a larger box with the flashlight etc. It came in a clear plastic bag with no instructions.

I'm worried that the flashing green either means defective batteries or that the batteries have been over dischaged. I would find it very surprising if they were over discharged, I was using the flashlight for a little less than an hour while doing some plumbing under a cottage. The flashlight was quite warm but the light was still very bright when I switched to another set of batteries.

Thanks for your reply.

Mine goes red when a cell is slightly discharged, blinks once per second or so while it's charging and the goes solid green when the cell is charged (although only up to 4.16v  )

Have you checked that particular cell with a volt meter? my WF-139 blinks green when unable to charge a cell (ie. each blink corresponds with an attempt OR cell condition test), I've only had this happen once with an Ultrafire 18650 (protected) my AW cells have never had this issue
