I found an old RayOVac Workhorse 2AA flashlight at my folks' a while back. It uses a PR4 2.3 volt 0.27A bulb. Any good suggestions on an LED replacement? Since the flashlight itself is rectangular, the reflector area is about 1.75" by .75", with a weird little fernel-style lens in the middle of the plastic lens. It's a cute little light, just right for a jacket pocket or to throw in a kitchen drawer, but the light isn't that bright and the funky reflector makes a really weird beam pattern.

That was my favorite flashlight when I was young, I won't say it started my flashaholism as I think I've always liked flashlights, but it was certainly my favorite of my youth.

Wow it had a horrible beam...

If the Rayovac 2AA light is still working fine, you may want to consider keeping it and changing the batteries every so often.

Hope there is a Costco in your area because they are selling a package of around $31-$35 Maglite with a 3D LED and a 2AA LED lights. I think it is a superb deal for household uses.

This thread may get a lot more helpful tips and suggestions in the LED area.

you can always replace the incan bulb with an LED bulb for increased running time and about the same in brightness depending on the LED bulb.
