Upgrading the Tiablo A10-G

Can anyone upgrade the LED on a Tiablo A10?

Hi all,

Can the Tiablo A10-G be upgraded from the stock XRE-R2 @ 1.2A to say an XPG-R5 (or R4 neutral) @ 1.4A, or other options? My primary intent is to broaden the beam a bit at distance, with any extra throw being a bonus.

If an upgrade is possible, I would appreciate any leads to those with the expertise to perform this mod.

well the XP-G mod wil broaden the beam but I don't think uping the power willl help with the throw anymore...

IIRC you can get a 50% increase if you drive it at max but you will not be able to cover the loss of throw due to the larger die size of the XPG
