AW, will this switch work in an early build 3C Mag? The light in question was built in the early 80's; it doesn't have the C in front of the serial number.

Also, has anybody tried 2x18650's in a 3C body and this driver?

I am currently running 2 X 18650s in a 2C body and they fit perfectly without the spring. Of course I had to sand down a piece of PVC pipe to make it fit perfectly so the 18650 do not rattle.

It won't fit the older Mag C with the retaining ring holding the switch. You can still install the switch without using the retaining ring but you 'll have to roll up some aluminium foil around the top portion of the switch to hold it in position.
