W-E Crocodile

Would like to know what you - fellow CPF'ers - think of the Wolf-Eyes Crocodile.

I have a M@g85 and M@g5761 Those cost quite some money. A croc becomes within reach, but I have a lot of questions:

Is it a good light?

Is the output really 3400 lumens?

Does it have a strong body?

Is it worth the money?

Is there a (non-moded) alternative in the same price category? Same runtime and output

How is the warranty? Read somewhere the Wolf-Eyes give a 90-day warranty only.

Any specific hidden disadvantages?

Don't have a Croc, but I have had two WE HIDS - a Shark and a Boxer. A couple observations;

The lights seem tough and very well made. I heard on the board somewhere that WE uses sintered metal for their bodies. I have no idea how good that is, but I doubt it's a tough as a machined aluminum tube. I never dropped on to see if it would break. Fit and finish seem first rate though.

The light seems blue - high color temp. That's not a deal killer, although I prefer a warmer temp.

They put out a TON of light. I never did a formal test, but even the 10W Boxer lights stuff up a couple hundred yards away.

Short version, WE makes good stuff. As for the warranty, I suspect that if the light doesn't die in 90 days, it's not gonna for a while.

I bought one used about 6 months ago. Unless there is a problem with mine, I would say it is the worst HID light I've owned, and I have owned quite a few. Very low output, very blue tint and very long warm up time. I doubt if mine is outputting even 20 watts.
