Had problems with a Jetbeam RRT-1 with a cooked LED.
It was sent back and a replacement head was supplied.
However, when returned the head (when screwed down onto the body as it shold to ensure a seal) pinched the selector ring locking it into one position.
The light was returned again and a new body has been provided - essentially a new torch.
However, because they are two replacements, it is not deemed to be a "new" torch and therefore the warranty is not extended.
This seems a little crazy to me so maybe worth checking out the warranty offered by the manufacturers you choose to ensure you know where you stand.
