WE 9DX Raider Question.

I'm planning to buy this light and upgrade it with a lumensfactory drop in. I'm going to run this light on RCR's.

I was looking at the D36 9V 450 lumens, and it says it can be run on either three CR123A or two RCR123A.

But the 9DX light has three batteries..:thinking:

Should i go up to 12V when using 3xRCR123A?:shrug:

The Lumens Factory EO-9L will NOT work in The Raider 9DX, because the EO-9L lamp is finned for cooling which makes it too thick to fit in the Raider 9DX bezel. None of the Lumens Factory lamps will fit the Raider 9DX.
You can not run 3 RCR123 rechargeables, but you can run 2 18500 batteries.
Consider the M90 Rattlesnake if you want to run the Lumens Factory lamps.

I think it says three CR123's or two 3.7V rechargables. (LRB-150A Li-ion)

According to P-T-S the light can use this "HO-12 (12V, 550 Lumens)" lumens factory bulb.

What is the rechargeable options for this one?

And where can I buy 18500 batteries/charger?

The Raider 9DX is the turbo bezel model, and as FlashKat says, the Lumens Factory LAs will not fit in this. If you buy this model, you will have to settle for WE lamps (which aren't at all bad, BTW).

You might want to consider the 9AX model instead. This has the D26 non-turbo bezel, which will take all the LF D26 LAs. For example, the EO-9 would give you 380 bulb lumens for ~40 mins with 2 x 18500 Li-Ions, and of course you can use the same LA with 3 x CR123A primaries.

3 x 18500 with the short 150 extender, or 3 x 18650 with the longer 168 extender. Either option will run the LF EO-13 (750 bulb lumens).

And where can I buy 18500 batteries/charger?

The stock M90 takes 2x18650, and any of the 9V Lumens Factory D36 lamps will work in it.
The EO-9L is great. It will run for ~45min. For a longer runtime option, the Wolf Eyes 9V D36 will run about an hour and a half.

You should have left your post. It was informative and correct. I posted a little after you did and saw your information, but I was late for work and had to leave my post as is.
The only reason I know this is because I found out the hard way of buying a similiar set-up without asking
