Dandism, Sorry no plan to make the Wee in Alu. The SS is pretty much the perfect material for the Wee. Taken into consideration costs, wear, corrosion & appeal.

Me too, the desire to replace my Wee Ti was greater than my fear of explaining to my lady why I would spend this sort of money on a flashlight. Of course, the price cut reduces that fear somewhat, and the SS is less expensive than the Ti.

In fact, for banging around with my keys, SS is probably a better material.

Mike you will find the SS Wee very durable, perfect for the keychain. With swivel and #1 McGizmo clip it weighs the same as an Arc AAA.

Cheers, since I carry a Chrome Vanadium Steel locking wheel-nut socket on my keyring, the weight of the Wee SS is not so much of an issue. Glad to hear that it stands up to this sort of use.
