What is the lumen forcast for LED's this 2008?

Well last year we say Cree Q5 come out with ~228lm at 1A. I wonder how 2008 will be for the LED's.

I know Luxeon has thier K2/Rebel recall right now. Hmm.. I wonder if by the end of the year or earlier if we'll see 250lm @ 1A LED's.

Well I guess we'll have to wait and see.

Ok so I guess I guessed too conservatively then. Wait, I think I was probably referring to the min. lumens at 250lm. :devil:


About that SSC at 370ish lumens at 1.4A I'd rather have my data based in 1000mA because of the TaskLED's 1000mA max LED drive on most of thier drivers.


When is that SSC forcasted for buying? Also what is the lm for the Cree R4 min/max?

all the Seouls I ordered till now, had numbers shown of being brighter than anything else,
but in reality they all were far worse than my XR-E P4 light (everything else like batt, driver, modder being the same).
simply put: they suck

what I still wait for, are the "white" led but based on purple ones, that where announced of being in the works sometime last year.
If working: at least same output than now, but with only 2/3 of the Voltage needed

(+ wouldnt hurt me to see 300-350 lm @ 1 A leds that year)
