What light(s) have you gotten rid of that you regret not keeping?

For me it was a Fenix P1 CE. Extremely small, bright, and reliable. No complicated multilevel interface, just off and on. I gave it to a friend who just had to have it. Many lights have past through my hands but this is the one I regret not keeping.

Surefire M6. Sure, they're coming out with the fancy new 400 lumen pocket rocket in June, but that beautiful tint and the mindblowing power of that light will never leave me.

Inova X1. Didn't like it because of its tight spot and no spill. After giving it away, then needed a light with no spill.

I didn't exactly get rid of it, I just can't find it anymore. Inova X5 "tactical". I'm sure it's around here somewhere, but I definitely regret losing it.

Not a whole lot of light. But it lasts FOREVER, and I've seen very few lights built like this thing is.

I recently got an Inova bolt (can't remember which model, 2xCR123) and I can say that it's just not built like the original X5.

An Electroless Nickel Plated FireFly III with pocket body. Man I miss that sucker.. I got a replacement on the way but, no plating. I know its in loving hands right now but still makes me :mecry:. It was one of those sacrificial sales you do to grab the new...

You mean some people actually get rid of lights?!?!? On purpose?? :ohgeez:I think I still have all of the lights I've bought over the years. If someone likes one of mine, I buy them one.

Probably The Inova X5 And X5 UV..I Had No Special Purpose For The Lights,But, I Do Miss The Even Flood That The 5MM LEDs Provided.

My old four sided A2. Sold it to fuel my HDS bug figured hell it's a great light but maybe i could do without it.Man was i stupid i finial got another just like it and i can't believe i ever got rid of it in the first place.I had forgotten how beautiful the main beam was and the light just fits my hand like it was made for me Never again.

Tossed my old incan MiniMag when it stopped working (in retrospect, the bulb probably just died) on the theory that it wasn't that great, and I could get another for $7. THEN I found CPF. Nuts. I could have kept it and put in a TerraLux or SMJLED, and had a pretty decent little light.

I sold a 2nd gen. KL3 head with a GREEN LED. I regret selling that more than a little. I called Surefire when I saw this thread a few days ago and ordered another one.

Let us know what luck you have. I emailed them about making colored LED lights again last week and they said no.

Probably the one and only light I really regret selling is my old M3. I was told it was purchased for someone in Iraq, so I imagine it's over in the sandbox right now, probably all dinged up now. :sigh:

I gave my SF L2 to my brother in law when he was headed to Afghanistan for the second time. I don't regret giving it to him, but I do wish I still had one.

I regret a bunch of them. Blue SubD Mag, Gray HA 1D Mag, Black Aleph1 on pinapple body...

I just needed the money at the time. Life gets in the way sometimes.

Although they were shelf queens I miss my VIP package & my CNC-123 package. These are ones that I wish I never sold the most! :(

I wish I still had my 6R, 9P, SL-35X, and my extra 7D Kel-Lite. But I don't regret any of those trades considering the things I came away with.

I'm actually one of the rare people who had an M6 and sold it with no second thoughts. Other than small size and toughness, a modded Magcharger is a superior light for me.

One of the few Surefire Combat lights that I really liked to hold my hand was the L6, but at the time I didn't feel the performance was worth the cash. I wish I had it now, because I would just have it upgraded.

A Canon 420 EX, lol.

I sold it a while ago because I needed the money. It was a good flash unit.

( Linky to this "flash"light )

I regret selling my ARC LSH-P with twisty 123 pack. I sold it (for much more than I paid for it) when ARC went under a few years ago. The Fenix P1 has taken its place, but I still kinda wish I had my old ARC back.

I also kinda wish I had kept one of my SureFire M6's. I've owned three of them, but let them all go at one time or another. That one is pretty easy to remedy though as they are still readily available.
