Where can I find Bare r2 (preferably WG tint) emitters in the US?

I believe Dealextreme only has them mounted on stars - they are WG though. You could unsolder them if you are good.

You can always get the bare emitters here, shipping isn't bad at all for quantity 10 or so, though it looks like you will have to go either WF or WH.

In R2 flux bin, Cutter currently has WH, WC, WD, and WF available. I am considering getting some WD or WHs myself.

I bought a P60 type drop-in and removed the R2 from the star using my stove top. I was surprised at how well it worked, about 2 seconds at high heat and it came right off. It also left all the solder behind on the board.:twothumbs

Look for the E01 which equates to R2 flux bin as for tint you would have to call.

Try Shiningbeam, I just recieved an r2 on board he may have it bare. He is in the usa and an excellent person to buy from (I'm a happy customer).
