or is there somthing better?Where can i find them,Ive searched but:whistle:

They should have them at cheapbatterypacks.com. I heard the CBP1650s were being phased out for a new version, so keep an eye out for that. You could also try Amondotech's 1800mAh Titaniums (the ones advertised as capable of a 10C discharge).

From what I found the CBP are being replaced, but could not link to the new on,maybe they are not yet avail.

Thanks,Amondos look good to.

Why 1800 mAh and not 2600 with same 10 c?Are they not available?

In general, the higher capacity cells don't do as well in areas such as self-discharge, overall longevity, and discharge current.

Have a look at the battery shoot out by silverfox and you will see that Eneloops make an excellent battery for a mag 85. The bulb only draws about 3.3 amps which the eneloops handle with ease and you get the benefit of having a LSD cell also.

Can the eneloops be used with a smart charger or do they need a special sanyo charger???

I've got available 6x cbp 1650 for what I got in em,
they are sitting in a fivemega AA to 2x D adapter. hate to let that go...

please PM for PP info.
