The Nitcore Defender seems to be in very high demand with very little supply currently. Here is a thread from Edgetac the manufacturer discussing weather issues which are causing delays on the second batch:

For me it is worth $80. My favorite light now. Funtionality, power, feel, etc. To each his own.

I've got a Tadgear.com storefront here in town, so I'm looking forward to seeing one of these things sometime later this year. Hear good things about them, but their feature set isn't really that interesting to me as I'm not a low level freak. Will take a look though as they are pretty well recommended. For $80 though, I'm well covered with my L1Tv2 and can think of other deserving lights out there.
