Where to buy mini-HID bulbs?

Hello,

Thanks to this forum, i have successfuly DIY 2 35W HID flashlight from normal HID Car headlights.

I have a new project now, which is to mod a C-size or D-size Maglite in to a 10W-12W HID. but the problem is locating ANY units of these mini-HID bulbs which can be fitted into a D-size mag.

a little background, i am from Malaysia, and HID flashlights are very rare, apart from a few scuba shops, or privately imported from overseas i.e Polarions. So for me to look for such uncommon 10W-12W HID bulbs are extremely difficult. maybe there are Malaysians reading this forum could help?

I hope the people in this forum could direct me to the correct place to purchase the bulbs, which are willing to ship worldwide.

Try Welch Allyn's website. Here's their page for a 10 Watt HID bulb that at least one modder (Mac) has used in Maglites:

Not sure where to get a suitable ballast, but hopefully this will get you started .

Look under Mac's Customs in the Custom builder section of the forums. He makes them.
