i am looking for a light that will light up a area about 50 feet of sidespill at about 100 feet of distance with no hotspot. it is for jobsite roof inspections at night. is the wiseled a good choice or would someone reccomend the most powerful handheld floodlight.

Yes, WiseLED Tactical 1500 lumens is the flashlight what you looking for, if you after LEDs technology. I don't know the others, never test them, like Foxfury and ElektroLumens. May other members will let you with other powerfull lashlights. I like WiseLED myself, and enjoy using it, right size and weight.

But the WiseLED won't run continuously at full power due to heat issues from what I hear. Be sure you know what you're buying.
Consider getting a compact 24W HID with diffuser lens.

Hi tekguy,

I can't make a recommendation as I don't own a Wiseled tactical, but it does look like a fantastic bit of kit, however there are some alternatives you might want to consider before coming to a final purchase.

Multi Cree/Seoul Mods such as are available from both Milkyspit and Mac, examples being the M6 Seoul Reaver by Milky..........

or Skalomax's M876 Skalomonster by Mac

There is also the ArcMania SFV which I own and offers an amazing flood, however the UI does let this option down a little IMHO. Beamshots attached with full respect and bragging rights to CPFer qawarol who took the beamshots.

Hodsta,
Nice photos and SFV seem to be an excellent flashlight, I wish we can compare it with WiseLED and see the different. It is not a challange but just like to see the different between this two flashlights. I don't have this flashlight so I can not compare it.
I have WiseLED Tactical K2 1000 lumens and P4 1500 lumens, it is a brilliant flashlight for me, give out powerfull distance floodlight. Anybody live in South West of London and have SFV please PM me, may be we can compare between this two flashlight.
Any where what ever you choose, I think they are both very very good flashlights.
