Ok, I am new around here and have been looking for a good duty light. I was told about the Wolf-Eyes Sniper MC-E so I started trying to research Wolf Eyes and everything they make. First thing I found was I can't afford the Sniper MC-E. I'm looking to spend $150 usd maybe a little more. I found the MC-E2 on their site and think I've found a place to buy it (http://www.dinodirect.com/wolf-eyes-mc-e2-digital-mc-e-700lumens-led-rechargeable-flashlight.html). Does anyone have any beam shots and/or test data on this light period? I haven't found much on it. It may be a long shot but does anyone comparative beam shots and/or data comparing it with the EagleTac T20C2 MKII, Olight M20 and/or Olight M21??? Is this thing just really new or a flop/rip off? Like I said I'm new so excuse me if I say anything ignorant, you're more than welcome to laugh at me ! Here is a link to my thread discussing my need for a light and the progress I've made since I decided to look for a new light.

I have a pair of Wolf-Eye's lights (Raider with incan and LED modules and a P7 Sniper) with accessories.

All of Wolf-Eye's full sized lights (They do make some smaller AA lights) have a beam profile that is a combinmation of flood and throw. They will all have a wider spill area than most with a hotspot capable of midrange throw. I would guestimate that they will throw 100 to 150 feet fairly easily. Maybe more. My P7 Sniper at 580 emitter lumens will light up the fence at the back of my yard with ease and that is at least 80 feet. It will also fill most of the yard with flood lighting from the spill. When you get into one as powerful as the one you are looking at it will throw a considerable distance just do to its powerful output. They are not more dedicated throw lights like some of the other lights you mentioned which may reach a few hundred feet.

The lights themselves are well made and thick walled, thus making them much heavier than most of their competition. They are not unwieldy but you will notice the difference. I have heard some folks comment about the lenses breaking if dropped but I have not experienced that. Never really dropped one to concrete either though.

If you are looking for a tight beam with throw they are not the lights for you. If you are looking for a combination style beam then they may be perfect. I would suggest contacting Mike at Pacific Tactical Solutions (Easily found by Google) and discussing what you need / desire. He is a good guy and will work with you. Please note that if you register on the web site you will receive a discount when logged in, and that can amount to a fair amount of money on some of the lights. Thus what was out of your price range at full retail may not be once registered and logged in.

Awesome, thanks for the info GreySave. Have you ever specifically heard of the MC-E2? I was just concerned I may have found it on a wolf eyes knock off site or something because i've had problems locating any info about this specific one. I am looking for a combination light which is one reason this light was soo apealing to me. Thanks alot for the reference to pacific too!
