About to order an XP-G R5 module that is available in 1A, 1B and 1C tints. I have looked at the charts but still don't understand how each of these compare to my XR-E R2 in WC tint.

How would each of these be characterized and which is warmer or cooler than my R2? Any advice appreciated.

the 1A,B,C tint XPGs are in the upper end of the "cool" color range.

Thanks, on the chart here: http://www.cree.com/products/pdf/XLampXP_B&L.pdf

Looks like 1C tint is the warmest at around 6100-6500k
1A and 1B are both shown at around 6500-7200k, so not sure what the difference would be there

My R2 WC tint is shown at 6350-7000k so I guess 1A or 1B is the closest to it
