Taking a shower in a hotel room at night when there's a power failure. No room light, no daylight, no familiarity with floor plan, and EDC somewhere in the next room.

no matter where you are...shower with a waterproof light hanging somewhere reachable:naughty::huh:

A power outage in a windowless room. Plenty of flashlights. All of them with dead batteries.

not all dead, but some got fat and popped open with crystallized electrolytes everywhere...ugh[alkalines only plz]

Same scenario, but your EDC is in the next STATE (because you forgot it).
