1) Reliability- Does it work when needed?

2) Functionality- Are the controls intuitive?

3) Quality of Fit & Finish- Is it well made?

4) Beam Appearance- Output, Color, Shape, ...

5) Portability- Easy to carry?

4Sevens is my top right now, and I have no experience with anything else, so no 2nd and 3rd yet If I had to chose though, I might go Olight and HDS.

For my purposes, I'd never go with Surefire or Malkoff, just too expensive for what I use flashlights for.
