quote:
May I introduce you SF Digital Fusion Flashlight (tm). http://www.pk-engineering.com/proto-photoz3.html

This device has an 3 LEDs embedded into reflector and also has halogen bulb in middle.
Controlled by SF dual-step pushbutton.
No need to carry LED keychain and separate flashlight anymore.

Digital + LED (3) + Halogen = Digital Fusion (tm).

Just look at this beauty. Looks like an E2 with 3 equidistant LED's in the bezel and a MNO3 bulb. So when the bulb goes that is all you need to replace. So now you have 2 great lights in one package.

Could that possibly be the ultimate EDC torch (or flashlight if you guys insist)?

But I wonder how long until we can get it...

I'm surprised the 3 holes in the reflector don't screw up the beam, but the beam pic looks nice and smooth. Nice work!

this is what i always wanted to do to my E2 bezel, but don't have the machine to do it.
ever wanted to drill the bezel to put in a LED. think PK has the most creative mind, among all flashlight engineers.

Tle L1, ans L2 are e1/e2 sized lights
. luxeon star
. digital control means constant light output regardless of battery condition
. appx 13 lumen

note 2002 catalog has mistakes
150+ niutes runtime on one page (1 or 2 123's)
on another page states 1-123 = 1 hour, 2-123= 2 hours

Hmm...I know the L1/L2 is LED...the LumaMax-series.

But isn't the regular Digital Flashlight series incandescent?

Well,

If Size 15's doesn't answer this morning, I will give a complete report later this afternoon on SF. The difference being, Al spent a better part of a day (Day 1) at the SF both with PK Ken et al. Al got to see the special "under lock and key" stuff... I only spent maybe 5 minutes.

BTW, the C2D and M2D are digital incandescants, will have three bulbs
